Due to the restrictions in place to contain the coronavirus we cannot run Oslo Open as a normal tournament this year. But we’re not letting that get in the way of us playing go and enjoying ourselves!
Instead of a normal weekend tournament, we will arrange a 4 round tournament on KGS on Sunday the 10th of May 2020.
Everyone is invited to join the tournament!
Tournament information
Tournament system: 4 rounds MacMahon
Rule system: EGF rules with 6½ komi
Playing time: 30 min base time, 3 x 20 seconds byo-yomi
The tournament will not be submitted to the EGD.
We want a tournament built on trust and fair play, so please do not use any joseki dictionaries, AI or outside help in your games.

09:45 – meet in the Norwegian Room on KGS
10:00 – Round 1
12:00 – Round 2
14:30 – Round 3
16:30 – Round 4
Location
The tournament will be held in the Norwegian Room on KGS.
Food
Unfortunately we cannot provide you with the customary pizza dinner this time, but we encourage everyone to make pizza on your own to keep the tradition alive!
